Photos were today released of the discovery site. The picture above shows one of the discoverers pointing at the exact place the holy artefact - The Elastic Madonna of Carlton - was discovered.

 

The exact location has not been revealed, to avoid thousands of believers flocking to the site. “We can’t have another Lourdes here in Carlton,” a local Catholic priest, who did not want to be named, revealed. “The local coffee houses won’t be able to cope with the extra thousands of pilgrims, and candlelight vigils could be dangerous in the dry Australian summer”.
